TILTS INTO IMPACT

(5:16) One of the best ways to create and maintain leverage in your swing is to create and maintain tilts in your body. Most amateurs and high handicap students tend to get their back shoulder below their front shoulder too early in the downswing trying to help the ball off the ground and into the air. This is the opposite of what you want to do. In this video, Brian and Amy demonstrate the importance of keeping your front shoulder and hip lower than your back shoulder and hip at the start of your downswing. This will immediately help you hit the ball further and more solid.
